I have been noticing that lately Vroo seems to always be the one flipping his uncles and grooming them!!! I am wondering if there is going to be a turnabout as far as alphas go in my cage. Wembley, while always being congenial and quite pleasant, has been top rat. He always makes sure that Fergus understands this and for the longest, Vroo as well. Imagine my surprise this morning to see Wembley on his back, feet in the air and Vroo very busily grooming his uncles belly. I assume nothing at this point and find myself more often than not amused by the antics in the cage. Each of these rats has a very distinct personality and they are very different from one another. The one thing they share? A love for cozy hammocks and cuddly cubes (thanks Astrid for always making sure my boys have the best cubes to snuggle in!!!).

I am looking forward to Urn coming home. Of course, it will be the end of February before he meets his uncles and cousin, but I don’t look for intros to be much a problem. These boys have been very accepting of one another and don’t seem to mind other rats all that much. Besides, they have an enormous cage to spread out into!!!

We should be getting new pics up this evening and I’m looking forward to that very much. The boys all look so handsome and all grown up.

Wow!! Here we are at the end of the year already. This year has flown by and so many wonderful things have helped make it a very special year for all of us! Having the Fraggle boys come into our lives was the most incredible thing. They have brought much love, laughter and happiness with them. We find new things about them everyday that delight and amuse us. This year also saw Nugi come home. He is a special little man and still manages to amaze me with his varied and wildly different personalities. LOL. Vroo and Meef have come along, rounding out the year with their drama king antics and squeals of protest. I still laguh at Vroo when he whines about uncle Fergus cleaning his ears too roughly.

Losing Bottoms was the hardest thing we had to deal with. She was a special little girl and will be remembered with much love and very warm memories.
