Mom has been really busy and very sad the past few weeks, so I thougth I would sit down at her desk and write a few words. Its been a long haul for her Aunt Janet and she is finally at rest. Cancer is a terrible thing for humans, just like it is for us rats. Mom said that Aunt Janet departed this world and went on to heaven on December 4th. I know mom has been very sad and has cried alot the past week. On Friday I decided to jump out of the cage and scared mom pretty badly. She says I am getting to be an old man now and need to be careful. I still feel pretty spry and still popcorn when I can, mom is silly.

It may be a while before mom does any updating of her own. I just wanted to check in and make sure everyone reading knew things were still ok.
