Boo is with Valerie and he is a cutie!!!! Now it’s just waiting a month until show to finally meet my two newest babies!!!!! I’m really excited. They both look absolutely adorable.
This weekend we have the Little League Parade, so that will make Saturday super hectic and busy. I was wanting to get the boys some stair time but I may have to wait for that. My older fraggle boys love climbing the stairs and I think it’s a good way to get some exercise outside of their cage. Since Urn dived into the couch and we had to wait him out for three hours, they haven’t been back out on the furniture ;P
Boo weighs a whopping 260 grams, Hector is 187 grams. I suspect both boys will be big cage material after show. I’m so glad I won’t have to fool with a nursery cage for these two. I’m looking into getting a Martins cage for babies while they are fattening. I gave the old nursery cage a pitch into the trash this morning… BYE BYE!!!!

Wish the weather was warmer. I would like to take a couple of the boys to the scrimmage softball game this evening!! I know they would love the attention. We don’t know any other rodent owners other than Scott, so QT issues aren’t a problem.
They were piled in a hammie when Adrienne and I got home. Nothing quite like a warm pile of rat boys
Hopefully Val will get Boo this evening and get him introduced to one of his “cage” brothers. I’m looking forward to having the Rex kids home next month. That will be alot of fun. The oddish coats are also interesting. I’m sure they will make wonderful additions to the family.

Love comes in many different flavors. People love differently and love things around them in ways often lacking for words to describe how they feel.
My boys are all sweet and so different, yet they all have parts of my heart. I didn’t realize a heart could grow so big to fit so many little faces. I watched my sweet boy Fergus reach out to touch his tiny nose to my fingertips yesterday evening, it made me want to tear up. Such grateful gestures for any comfort or attention from their humans.
Love that comes in the package of a rat is unique and intense. They burn bright and love you in a way that I don’t believe any other animal can.
My boys take treats with a look of, “Are you sure I can have this?”–no matter how many they have been given. They lick hands and cuddle with a contented brux and share a boggle in thanks.
I am telling myself lately that 7 will be enough for now, but I’m not so sure. I’m never sure when the next baby will tell me he is ready to come home to me.

Ok, the paperwork is filed, showboxes ordered… we are on a roll!!! Oh yeah, the room is also reserved!!! The boys are halfway to show already!!! So much still to do though. We need to finish travel cages, get hammies ready for that, figure out the water bottle situaton. Just kinda makes you tired thinking about it all.
I need to get some trade/transport papers in the mail, but otherwise we should all be in good order with the folks in charge =D.
Fes is still fattening, the little escape artist. He spends 6-8 hours a day with the big boys. Trying to keep him well socialized and not as bored. I guess it’s hard being a rat kid in a cage all alone..boo hoo.
The newbies will come home after show. The weather just didn’t want to cooperate and Val wasnt able to get Boo from K. I guess that’s supposed to be happening on the 18th of this month, just before show QT. Let’s keep our paws crossed boys and hope the babies make it safely to Valerie and from there all the way home
