E-mail me at Adrienne@fragglerats.com if you would like me to write about a 1 or 2 rats.I will choose to write about 2 a month.Tell me about what the rat likes to do or ect.

Hope everyone is all geared up for the night! The boys are eagerly awaiting treats and lots of fun LOL. Ok so they wont be getting candy bars, but I am making them something special seeing as everyone should get a treat of some kind today!

They will spend the day like tiny vampires, deeply asleep in dark, cozy hammocks that are full of pockets to keep out the sunlight. At sunset I expect them to rise up, ravenous and looking for a feed *laughs*. Of course I will be there with a plate of dinner and scritches all around. Even tiny vampires need the comfort of moms gentle hand and voice =D

Hope the day brings lots of fun and tons of treats for everyone!!!!

I was admiring Vals newest additions at the rattery and I see some eyes opening. How very cute. I cant wait to see them with their eyes fully opened and looking like more than gorgeous lumps of fur LOL. It’s so cute when they start to really get around and can see where they are going!

Gourmet foods accroding to my boys; a bowl of fresh steamed rice, fresh peas all with a tasty stage two baby food turkey sauce. Its funny to watch them all get onto the edge of their dinner dish and chow down. They love rice and peas, I just mix up the sauce I pour over it. Baby food is an interesting food for them. Not so much that it gets boring or usual for them. Nugi is a cage climber these days. He used to stay inside when the door was opened, now he runs out with the other two. They enjoy climbing on their cage while we are busy cleaning it up for them. We spot clean everyday to make sure they are living in the best possible conditions. It can get busy for us, but they are worth it! Its important to note that we dont use conventional litter of any sort, they have a towel at the bottom of their cage making the daily spot touch ups a necessary evil. Wembley seems to mind the most, always trying to dominate the cleaning cloths LOL. Im hoping we get a chance this weekend to let them do their power stair climbing, they enjoy that quite a bit. Its easy for us to sit one at the top and one at the bottom of the stairs and let them do their thing. Good exercise for them and very entertaining for us!

Hopefully in the next few weeks we will have a new face or two around here at Fraggle rats. Yes, I am breaking down and giving in to my disease LOL. GGMR (Gotta Get More Ratties) is a scary thing when out of control. I was told the best cure is to simply give in and get the ratties, so thats what Im going to do.

Scott picked up a huge cage from a forum member at another site we frequent. Its very nice and its GIANT!! The cage calculator says 6.75 rats, so all of his babies will be cozy in that. Im already pondering a cage upgrade, my boys need more room to roam and stretch out. I think its very important that rats have their own space in a cage. I know they are social creatures and need one anothers company, I just feel that if they want space to retreat they should have it. Im also thinking about new toys to keep them entertained, although they prefer us as toys and entertainment LOL.

So we shall see what and who these next few weeks brings into our lives and hearts!
